Raising your Great Dragon to adulthood and caring for her is the main goal in the game. It is the key to your city's survival, and helps to defend your city if it under attack. Your dragon will be raised in the Dragon's keep, which you need to upgrade in order to help your little dragon grow up with each level. You can also teach your great dragon to participate in your attacks by gaining various dragon armour pieces from anthropus camps. All anthropus camps drop the armour pieces but you are more likely to find them in level 5-6 camps. When you collect all four pieces of armour you can research Aerial Combat.

Note: The power boost received from the Dragon Keep is the same as you would receive from the Fortress or the Wall. The power you receive is cumulative, therefore for a lvl 10 Dragon Keep you receive the power from lvl 1 + lvl 2 + lvl 3 and so on until lvl 10. The total power that you can receive is therefore 25,600.

If your dragon is defeated in battle it will be heavily injured, however your Great Dragon will never die. It will however need time to heal back to full health, which will take time. You can use speed up items to help speed up Great Dragon's recovery.
